FAQ
Questions people often ask
Is Between free?
Yes, during the open beta: everything unlocked, no credit card. If paid plans ever arrive, we'll let you know in the app at least 30 days ahead, and nobody will lose anything they've created.
Can my partner see my limits?
No. Each of you sets your categories privately. The game only uses what you both accept, and your partner never finds out what you said no to.
Can we play long distance?
Yes. Long-distance Roulette, Who Knows Who Best?, Who's More Likely To…? and Draw & Guess are each played from your own phone.
Do I need to install an app?
No app store needed. It opens in Safari or Chrome and you add it to your home screen in a few seconds; from there it works like any other app, notifications included.
What if I don't want to do a challenge?
Tap “Skip” and the game moves on. Skipping is always available and never costs points. You can also pause or end the game whenever you want.
How do you protect our data?
Each couple has an isolated space: nobody outside the two of you sees your challenges, answers or preferences. There are no ads or analytics inside the app (we only count visits to this website, without cookies), phone notifications never show the content, and you can download or delete your data from Settings.
Is Between available in English?
This website is, and the app is being translated. For now the app itself is in Spanish; we'll let you know inside the app as soon as English is ready.
